New Signs on Route 15 & Proposed Changes to Exit 38 on I-95

I would like to share some major developments on our roads in two separate projects. First, drivers can expect to see new signs in both directions of Route 15 in several towns including Milford. According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT), the upgrades are necessary because the existing signs are too old, damaged, or not up to code.
There will be lane closures on CT-15 North and South at varying times and locations.

CT-15 Northbound (Stratford - Milford) Stratford Town Line to Exit 54 Off-Ramp
  • 9:00 P.M. – 6:00 A.M. (Monday – Wednesday)
  • 10:00 P.M. – 5:00 A.M. (Thursday)
  • 10:00 P.M. – 7:00 A.M. (Friday)
  • 10:00 P.M. – 8:00 A.M. (Saturday)
  • 10:00 P.M. – 6:00 A.M. (Sunday)

CT-15 Southbound (Milford - Stratford) Exit 54 On-Ramp to Stratford Town Line

  • 9:00 P.M. – 6:00 A.M. (Monday – Thursday)
  • 11:00 P.M. – 8:00 A.M. (Friday)
  • 11:00 P.M. – 9:00 A.M. (Saturday)
  • 11:00 P.M. – 6:00 A.M. (Sunday)

  • 11:00 P.M. – 9:00 A.M. (Saturday)
  • 11:00 P.M. – 6:00 A.M. (Sunday)

The state predicts the project will be finished by July 2026.
The second project involves making changes to exit 38 on I-95 southbound. CTDOT wants to improve safety in the deceleration lane extension since it causes traffic and has been the site of too many crashes.
 
Crews will host a virtual public information meeting on Tuesday, October 29 at 7:00 P.M. You are invited to attend, ask questions, and provide feedback on the proposal. Registration is required.
