Drivers should be aware there will be slowdowns on both I-95 and Route 15 due to two separate projects that kick off next week. In both cases, lanes will be blocked off, which could lead to delays. Please plan accordingly.

Let’s start on Route 15 in Orange and Milford where crews will remove dead, diseased, and decaying trees. The right lane on Route 15 will be closed in both directions between exit 54 and exit 58 from Monday, July 22 through Friday, August 30. The work and subsequent lane closures will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Crews will also remove trees and vegetation that has grown in what’s called the “clear zone,” which is the safe space along the side of the highway. CLICK HERE for more information.

You can also expect delays at night on I-95 in Milford due to a gas main maintenance operation. The left and right lanes will be closed on both sides between exits 36 and 39B from the night of Monday, July 22 through the morning of Friday, July 26.
