Dear Neighbor,

Like many of you, I am outraged and disappointed by the executive orders signed over the past few days. Several of the orders will have an enormous impact on Black and Brown communities. Please see my comments below. I promise to continue to fight on the behalf of our community at the Capitol.

 

January 23 was Maternal Health Awareness Day. Connecticut House Democrats stand strong in our commitment to improving maternal health for all, from prenatal care to postpartum support. We've passed critical legislation like the Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Act and expanded Medicaid coverage to ensure that every patient receives the care they deserve.

Connecticut's cold weather protocol has been extended through Saturday, January 25.

The City of Norwalk is hiring Camp Counselors! This person will be responsible for ensuring a safe and fun environment for campers aged 5 to 14 through activities like arts and crafts, gym games, sports, and themed programs. This person will also be responsible for assisting with structured classes, support camp programs, and contribute to the setup, breakdown, and cleaning to maintain an organized and safe campsite.
