Dear Neighbor,

I want to invite you all to the 35th Annual Polish Day Celebration at the State Capitol. This year's celebration will take place on Thursday, April 30th, starting at 10 a.m. on the North Steps of the State Capitol. I am proud to co-host this event alongside Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz for the second year in a row.

This year's celebration will include  performances by the Polonia-Paderewski Choir and the Polish Scouts. Each year, selected community members are honored during the celebration for their contributions to the Polish community across Connecticut. This year, we will honor Jason Jakubowski (CEO of Connecticut Foodshare), Ansonia Mayor Frank Tyzska, Joanna Michalski (New Britain Polish Saturday School), State Representative Tami Zawistowski, and State Representative Mary Mushinsky  for their significant contributions and lifelong dedication to the community.

The 35th Annual Polish Day Celebration will take place on Thursday, April 30th, starting at 10 a.m., on the North Steps of the State Capitol Building (210 Capitol Ave, Hartford, CT).

I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Dave DeFronzo
State Representative
