Dear Neighbor,
Last week, the Community Investment Fund (CIF) Board voted to recommend allocating $1 million in state funding to the Ädelbrook Educational Program. Ädelbrook is a private special education program serving students with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, and learning disabilities. This investment would be used to help Ädelbrook expand the capacity of its Manchester Academy.
Ädelbrook has academy locations across the state that specialize in different age groups. Currently, the Manchester Academy serves approximately 30 students ages three through 11. The funding recommended by CIF will allow Ädelbrook to increase enrollment and enhance its Manchester program to meet the needs of more students in the area. The CIF recommendation is a key step in securing this funding for the State Bond Commission, which will meet within the next 60 days to consider CIF's recommendations.
This $1 million investment is a commitment from the state to continue supporting the needs of all students across the state and ensuring they have access to quality resources and support that meet their needs.
