Dear Neighbor,

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to DCF Commissioner Jodi Hill-Lilly on a truly distinguished career serving Connecticut’s children and families, and on her well-deserved appointment as Director of the Child Well-Being Program at the nationally renowned Doris Duke Foundation.

This highly respected organization champions children’s healthy development and their protection from abuse and neglect, and Jodi’s leadership will make a national impact.

As House Chair of the Children’s Committee, I had the privilege of working closely with Jodi. Her deep compassion, sharp insight, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding Connecticut’s most vulnerable children were evident in every conversation.

You do not devote nearly four decades to a field unless you are doing something profoundly right. Jodi has spent her career doing right by children, and now she will continue that mission on a broader stage. This is a tremendous gain for children nationwide, and a moment of pride for Connecticut. Congratulations, Jodi.

As always, if I can be of assistance to you and your family, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at Corey.Paris@cga.ct.gov or call 860-240-8585.

Sincerely,

Corey P. Paris
State Representative
