Congratulations, and thank you to the organizing committee for inviting me to the occasion to recognize the 77th anniversary of Nepal-US relations. Our cultural ties are a point of pride for this country, state, and, of course, Branford. I was not surprised to learn that Nepali Americans are the fastest-growing Asian American population in the US. And across the country, communities are coming together to join hands and hearts in friendship. We are a peaceful, prosperous, and democratic society.
