Nominations are now open for the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame class of 2024.

Consider nominating a Vet you know for this year's Veterans Hall of Fame class. The nominating period runs until September 15. An official induction ceremony will be held later in the year.

Veterans Hall of Fame

Created in 2005, the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame honors former members of the United States Armed Forces from the state who have made significant impacts on the lives of others and their communities after completing their military service.

Completed nominations must be submitted to the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs by September 15, 2024. They can be emailed to Lindsay.jesshop@ct.gov or mailed through the U.S. Postal Service to:

Nominees must have been born in Connecticut or resided in the state for a minimum of five years and have received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces.

We all know a Veteran. They are our family, neighbors and friends whom we honor every day for serving our country. Many continue to work in our communities to help improve the quality of life for all of us and they deserve to be recognized for their ongoing commitment.
