I want to congratulate the UConn men's basketball team for winning the national championship! The Huskies claimed their fifth title in program history after defeating the San Diego State Aztecs last night by a score of 76-59. The team's entire run during March Madness has unified our great state!

The entire team has made all of Connecticut very proud! We can't wait to celebrate with the team in Hartford. UConn is still finalizing its plans for a championship parade, and I hope you will wear your team colors to celebrate this big accomplishment!
