Rep. Dillon Named Deputy Majority Leader
DILLON NAMED TO HOUSE LEADERSHIP TEAM
(HARTFORD, CT) – House Majority Leader Jason Rojas (D-East Hartford) has named Representative Patricia Dillon (D-New Haven) Deputy Majority Leader.
"It was an easy decision asking Rep. Dillon to maintain her position as Deputy Majority Leader," Majority Leader Rojas said. "Her decades of experience in leadership positions, deep knowledge of issues related to public health coupled with her time as Deputy Majority leader in the recent legislative session, makes her a wealth of knowledge to our team, and the general assembly."
Rep. Dillon said, "I look forward to working closely with Majority Leader Jason Rojas and the leadership team. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue advocating for critical legislation that affects our state."
The Deputy Majority Leader is responsible for aiding the Majority Leader with the review and development of policy, the analysis of critical legislation, and with the agenda of the majority party.
