Additional State Funds for Schools and Town Aid
Wethersfield will receive an additional $1,0009,684 in education funding, $366,924 in municipal aid, $240,053 to fund school breakfast, for all school aged children, $200,000 for the second year of the senior center allocation, the second year of the $250,000 funding for early childhood, and a portion of $1M for grants in support of school districts in Newington, Wethersfield, Cromwell, Rocky Hill and Middletown for the support or establishment of high acuity, school-based mental health programming. I am grateful for the partnership between the House, Senate and Governor to create and pass a budget that we can all be proud of.
