The state's new discount prescription drug program has been up and running for two months. Read below to find out how you can save on medication and how many people in Stamford have already registered.

The Stamford Board of Representatives blocked an attempt to expand 5G technology in our city. Please keep scrolling to watch a high quality video of global health experts explaining their concerns with 5G.

And you don't want to miss a local production of "Legally Blonde The Musical." You will find ticket information below.

Discount Prescription Drug Program Enrollment Update

More than 12,000 Connecticut residents have signed up for the state’s prescription drug discount program called ArrayRx. Registration started about two months ago after my colleagues and I voted this program into law.

Those who sign up, including those on Medicare, will receive a free Rx card with savings up to 80% on generics. All FDA approved prescriptions are included. This program is a tool to deal with the dramatic rise in the cost of prescription drugs.

The Office of the State Comptroller released its full ArrayRx enrollment list by town, and it turns out Stamford has the second highest amount of people who have registered. CLICK HERE to get a full breakdown by municipality across Connecticut.

    5G Telecoms Installations Blocked

The Board of Representatives rejected a deal that would have allowed telecommunications carriers to install 5G equipment on city-owned utility poles but also to install their own poles in public Right-Of-Way (lawyers confirmed it could be hundreds of small cells). A series of experts blew us away with their research about the health concerns around 5G for humans and wildlife.

You can listen to the presentation by clicking on the video below. I hope you find the information as educational and useful as the board did last month ahead of the vote.
