CHESLA Accepting Scholarship Applications until May 10
It’s an exciting time of year for students as they prepare for higher education and move closer to their future goals.
For many, college costs can be overwhelming and if students are unaware of available resources, searching for loans, grants and scholarships can be a daunting task.
The Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority (CHESLA) is committed to sharing its resources with as many students as possible. To date, the program has helped more than 3,900 students achieve their education goals.
CHESLA’S in-school fixed rate loan is available to qualifying students who attend non-profit higher education institutions in Connecticut or Connecticut residents attending non-profit higher institutions within the United States. All approved applicants receive the same low fixed rate. CHESLA also has a refinance loan program.
Applications are being accepted now through May 10 for scholarships to be awarded in July for the 2019-2020 academic year.
So what are you waiting for? If you are a student or know one who is currently pursuing higher education, tell them about CHESLA and how the program enhances the funding and planning process for higher education!
