Let's Talk About It: Medicare Open Enrollment

We discussed open enrollment for Medicare coverage and supplemental plans on my weekly public affairs show, “Let’s Talk About It.” Laura Crews, Director of Benefit Access with Senior Resources Area Agency on Aging, explained that time is running out for those on Medicare to make their decisions. Open enrollment ends on Thursday, December 7.

The Senior Resources Area Agency on Aging, which covers Windham, is affiliated with the CHOICES program, which is also known as the State Health Insurance Assistance Program. CHOICES contains trained Medicare counselors, who are not affiliated with any insurance agencies. They provide those on Medicare with detailed information on current plans and how any changes will affect your bottom line for 2024.
