The House of Representatives was back in session today! Our main focus was to appoint judges across the state. As a freshman lawmaker, it was an honor to be part of this critical process bolstering our judicial system.
During the session the House of Representatives also voted on a new special education funding plan! This new plan provides 40 million dollars in immediate relief for school districts. I am thrilled our caucus was able to reach a compromise with Governor Lamont to secure this funding for students and teachers in need.
Sincerely,
 Jonathan Jacobson State Representative |
