With school recently started, now is a good time for a reminder that we all need to be extra careful as school buses and students will be sharing the roads.

Everyone must do their part to keep our children safe as they head back to classes. Once you familiarize yourself with the law, it becomes second nature just like other rules of the road.

It is not only our responsibility, failing to obey school bus safety laws comes with hefty fines.

So remember - slow down in school zones, stop for buses, and stay alert. Safe driving in our community ensures our kids arrive at school and back home safely each day.
