On Friday, I had the honor of holding an event to celebrate Bloomfield native and Pro Football Hall of Famer Dwight Freeney. I coached Dwight as the team’s Defensive Coordinator, and it has been a personal delight to see his success on and off the field.
Several Connecticut officials, including Speaker of the House Matt Ritter, University of Hartford President Lawrence P. Ward, and Former Bloomfield High Football Coach Jack Cochran were in attendance to honor the man of the hour.
Congratulations Dwight! Thank you for making Bloomfield and the entire state of Connecticut proud.
