You can expect to see crews repairing sidewalks in the Standish neighborhood just north of I-95 by exit 9. They are ripping the old walkway and pouring new concrete in one block at a time. The project is taking place on Seaton Road, Standish Road, and Revere Drive.
The upgraded sidewalks will improve safety, increase accessibility, and encourage more people to walk or cycle in the Standish neighborhood. This will lead to a more vibrant, functional, and attractive environment that will benefit everyone.
The map below shows the numerical order in which crews will perform their work. I'm told the entire sidewalk project will be finished before Thanksgiving as long as the weather does not present a challenge.
