The Connecticut General Assembly's legislative session is set to begin in the first week of February. As we prepare for another session, I want to hear directly from you about the issues and priorities that matter most in our community. Your input is essential in helping guide our work at the Capitol, and I value community discussions as an important part of my work.
On Saturday, January 17th, I will be holding a Community Meeting with State Senator Rick Lopes, Alderman John McNamara, Alderwoman Luz Ortiz-Luna, and Board of Education President Diana Reyes to discuss your concerns and ideas before the 2026 Legislative Session. We hope to answer your questions and hear directly from residents about what we can do in our positions to support you and the community.
The Community Meeting will take place on January 17th, from 10 a.m. to Noon at Spottswood AME Church (25 Crestwood Ln).
All New Britain residents are encouraged to attend. I hope to see you there! |
