We Will Never Forget
On a beautiful fall morning just like today, tragedy struck 23 years ago as an orchestrated terrorist attack on our country took place.
It is one of the those days we all remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when the news of the attack broke. For those not old enough to remember or those not yet born, it is a day that will live in history books and lessons forever.
It is also a day that political differences are put aside to honor and remember those lost in the attacks. May we always remember their sacrifice and stand united in resilience and hope.
Of the nearly 3,000 people killed in the September 11th attacks, 161 had ties to Connecticut. Their loved ones are in our hearts on this difficult day. They are never forgotten.
9/11 Ceremonies were held in many towns across Connecticut today.
Let us never forget the horror, but also remember the sacrifice and heroes of the day that reflect the courage and resiliency of our great and beautiful country.
God bless America!
