Friends,
Great news for Bethel! Governor Lamont announced that the Town of Bethel has been awarded $846,400 through the Community Connectivity Grant Program for Downtown Main Street pedestrian safety and connectivity improvements. This funding will help advance recommendations identified through the town’s Mobility, Walkability, and Parking Improvement Plan and continue efforts to make downtown safer and more accessible for residents, businesses, and visitors. Click here to view the Town of Bethel's Mobility Study. Thank you to our local officials, planners, and advocates who helped move this project forward. I was proud to support the town’s efforts and advocate for Bethel as these opportunities were considered. Strong relationships between local and state officials help ensure our community remains well-positioned to compete for investments like this. I look forward to seeing these improvements take shape in the years ahead. |
