Although session is now over, there is a still plenty of work that needs to be done. Legislation Passed in the House, Coyote Warning for Westport, and More!
May 3, 2024As a result of the structural damage to I-95 caused by the motor vehicle accident, Governor Lamont has declared a state of emergency. The accident caused significant structural damage to I-95 near Exit 15 in Norwalk, particularly to an overpass that expands the width of the highway. I-95 will remain closed while the overpass is rebuilt. The state Department of Transportation expects the work to last about 4 days, and hopes to reopen 1-95 by Monday.

April 26, 2024Happy Friday! I hope you have had a great week. As usual, there was plenty of excitement in Hartford this week. There was a ceremony for the new Vietnam Veterans memorial located at the Capitol, the House passed legislation concerning paid sick time, and I stood with some of my colleagues for a press conference that acknowledged food insecurity in our state.
