I am honored that I was recently designated as an Environmental Champion by the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters.

I am proud to announce that I was one of few legislators to score a perfect voting record this past session.

The law requires that insurance companies treat mental health and substance use disorders the same as other medical treatments.

As we wrapped up the last six months of work, one of the most talked about issues was the state budget, but equally important are many measures we passed that may be of interest.

It was a very busy week in chambers and we were successful in introducing 3 environment bills on the House Floor.

I am glad we are working towards bringing our election system into the 21st century by establishing an early voting process where more residents can exercise this right.
