Domestic violence is a scourge on civilized society and must be prevented. That is why Representative Peter Tercyak voted for HB 5054, An Act Protecting Victims Of Domestic Violence. The bill requires gun owners to surrender their firearms within 24 hours after being served with a temporary restraining order in domestic violence cases.
