2018 Major Issues Report

February 1, 2018

Every year, the Office of Legislative Research (OLR) identifies and provides brief descriptions of important issues the General Assembly may face in the upcoming session.

Included in this year's 2018 Major Issues Report are the state budget, opioid drug addiction, education funding, and Connecticut's business climate. To read the entire report, click here.

I would also like to hear what issues are important to you.

Before the 2018 legislative session commences Feb. 7, it is vital that I hear from you about the most pressing issues facing the 48th District and our state. Please take my survey here so that I can learn what matters to you. f you have any ideas for legislation. I am looking for your input regarding issues that are important to you, ideas for laws or your feedback on the legislature's progress.
