Widening I-95 Won’t Ease Congestion

I held a press conference opposing the Governor's push to widen I-95 in Fairfield County. It's a misplaced priority at best and really more just a bad idea.

Given the real priorities: fixing Metro North's aging infrastructure; addressing long overdue "state of good repair" projects all over the state; and forging a modern, integrated statewide mass transit system, the idea of widening I-95 is a distraction and poor use of scarce resources.
