Dear Neighbor,

Please see the Stamford Delegation's response to ICE activity in our city below.

Also, please note that the Recent ICE activity in Stamford has created fear and uncertainty for families across our community.

Our delegation stands with our immigrant neighbors. If you or someone you know is impacted, please remember: you have rights, and you are not alone.

Know Your Rights:

  • You have the right to remain silent and speak with an attorney.
  • You do not have to volunteer information about your immigration status or place of birth.
  • Do not sign documents you do not understand without first speaking with an attorney.
  • You can ask ICE agents to show a warrant before opening the door to your home.
