At the joint public hearing on health care reform bills in March, House Speaker Christopher G. Donovan made the case that the time is right to pass the Connecticut Healthcare Partnership into law. Having garnered widespread support last year, the bill would provide health care savings to municipalities, small businesses, non-profits, and the state at a time when they are all facing unprecedented fiscal challenges.
