This weekend, parts of the state experienced significant rainfall, resulting in flooding and damage to roadways, businesses, and homes.  DESPP’s Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS) is working with local officials to assess next steps.  

While it's unlikely we'll qualify for federal assistance, please report damage. The next two weeks are critical in assessing damage - the state has 30 days to submit a request to the federal government.
