The 2024 legislative session is churning toward the final days as our deadline for adjournment looms on May 8!

Last week, the Town of Manchester was awarded $3.5 million from the Community Investment Fund 2030 for our new downtown library project!

When the Connecticut General Assembly was in session on February 14, the House and Senate unanimously approved $17 million in additional cold weather heating assistance funds so many residents and families, who receive assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) or Operation Fuel, will have access to funds to ensure they can heat their homes through the cold weather season.

The 2024 Legislative Session opened this week! The House of Representatives met to start doing the people's work on Wednesday and hosted a joint session of the Connecticut General Assembly to hear Governor Lamont's State of the State address.

With the 2024 Legislative Session just around the corner, I am committed to keeping you informed and engaged in the democratic process.
