Happy Fourth of July!

We're only a few days from the Fourth of July! It's a time to express our American pride, reflect on our history, and celebrate our freedoms and cultural heritage with family and friends.

I wish you all a safe, happy, and sparkling Independence Day! 

What better way to celebrate than by coming together with the community! In Wilton, families are invited to enjoy a live DJ, gobble up a delicious meal from a food truck, and watch amazing fireworks at Wilton High School. This free event is taking place on Thursday, July 4 from 5 P.M. – 9 P.M. Music starts at 5 P.M. and the fireworks will light up the night sky at sundown.

Parking is $20, cash only, and available at the following lots:

  • Middlebrook School
  • Kristine Lilly Field
  • Stamford Health
  • Allen’s Meadows
New Canaan hosts its 43rd annual Family Fireworks of July Celebration on Saturday, July 6 at Waveny Park. Gates open at 5 P.M. There will be food trucks, bounce houses, and live music. The tunes start at 5:30 P.M. and continue until 9:15 P.M., which will then be followed by breathtaking fireworks. Rain dates are set for Sunday, July 7 and Saturday, July 13.

Parking is $35 per car or family. This event is exclusively for New Canaan Residents.

Ridgefield will also hold its July 4th celebration on Saturday, July 6. The Ridgefield Annual Family Fireworks Celebration will begin at 6 P.M. at Ridgefield High School, with fireworks set to begin at dusk. You can buy a parking pass by clicking here. The rain date is July 7.
