Energy Assistance Available

Operation Fuel is a private, nonprofit statewide program that offers emergency energy assistance to low income families and elderly residents.

The application process is already in progress and runs through Wednesday, October 31, 2018 or when the funding runs out. One time grants of up to $500 per household for deliverable fuel, gas and electric utilities are available to qualified individuals.

To qualify for electric utility, clients must have a shut-off notice, have no utility service, must need assistance to maintain a payment arrangement or have a past due balance of 30 days or more.
