DEEP announced that they are launching Round 2 of their E-bike voucher program on Sept. 17th at 12pm.

I joined the staff and members of the Webb Deane Stevens Museum, members of the National Society of Colonial Dames, members of the American Friends of Lafayette, members of the Society of Cincinnati, the Wethersfield Historical Society and Wethersfield residents in celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Marquis de Lafayette’s 67th birthday at the Webb Deane Stevens Museum.

The Connecticut Youth Employment Program is an initiative designed to help young people ages 14 to 24 explore careers by providing opportunities to work alongside professionals who assist them in building career networks and receive on-the-job training while also covering participant salaries and other job-related expenses, such as uniforms and transportation to and from work.

Connecticut's annual Sales Tax-Free Week begins on Sunday, August 18 and runs through Saturday, August 24. It provides a chance to save money, whether it is taking the kids back-to-school shopping or treating yourself or your loved ones.

Several new laws that address many issues aimed at improving our great state will become effective on July 1.

I was happy to work with a Wethersfield resident to have a portion of Route 3, Maple Street, named after her grandfather Edwin H May Jr.

On May 25th, the Town hosted its annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in Old Wethersfield. The day continued with events and activities along Main Street.

Happy Pride Wethersfield! I had the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate our LGBTQ+ friends and stand in solidarity with our state and town leaders, as our LGBTQ+ community faces rising injustices in our country.
