During today's session, we passed a bill that will make targeted, meaningful investments in the people who keep our communities strong.

The right to vote is under constant attack around the country. During session on Thursday, the House passed legislation that will ensure that elections in Connecticut are free, fair, and transparent.

The Connecticut Land Conservation Council (CLCC) held a press conference at the Capitol to celebrate Earth Day yesterday. I was honored to be invited to speak alongside other environment advocates.

As expected, it has been a busy week in Hartford. My colleagues and I have been working late into the night to pass meaningful legislation. I wanted to take a moment to spotlight two bills that have passed in the House.

Today, we passed legislation that will protect the people of Connecticut and adapt to policy changes made on the federal level.

Although we did not have session this week, we’ve been busy in committee.
Just before 3:00 PM today, we voted the last bill on the Appropriations agenda after beginning the day with Judiciary matters.

In honor of Earth Month, Save the Sound is hosting a cleanup event at Long Wharf Park on Saturday, April 18. Participants will help remove trash from the area and contribute data that will support pollution reduction laws.
