CT ranks #2 in breast cancer incidents – let’s support ultrasounds for prevention!

March 2, 2018

This session, I introduced legislation addressing the screening and prevention of breast cancer and the importance of health insurance coverage for ultrasounds for persons with dense breast tissue. This year, 3,500 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in our state. We must do something to help with prevention.
